Reports and Data:

What can you tell me about who reads my email?
ROIemail tracks every step of the email process. After you launch a campaign, you can login and see who opened your email, who clicked on a link (and which links they clicked), and how addresses bounced or unsubscribed.

How do I interpret the data collected from each campaign that I do?
Each campaign's results are available in the "Reports and Downloads" section of your account. When you click on a campaign, you'll see a table of data that tells you how many people received your message, how many email addresses bounced, and what the response rates were for various pieces of the campaign. In addition to this 'top down' view of your campaign's success, you can download the raw data associated with each point of measurement in the system. This can help you build lists of people who are consistent readers of your email messages.

How can I download my campaign data?
Just click the "download" button next to the dataset you want to save to your own computer. You'll be presented with a file download alert that allows you to save the file anywhere on your computer. Note that all data is saved as .csv (comma separated value) files. You can open these files with a program like Microsoft Excel.

How can I use campaign data to get better results?
Keeping careful track of your campaign data will make your business more successful. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind:
Look for people who consistently open your emails. These are people who value their relationship with you and who are just one good offer away from a sale. You can also learn more about your customers by paying attention to your response rates as they vary by message type, day of the week sent, and audience.

SPAM and Deliverability:

Can ROIemail help me make sure my email is delivered?
ROIemail offers a testing function that allows you to make sure that your email messages get through to any ISP where you have a testing account. We'll also help you set up a testing program that is easy and effective.

What is "whitelisting" and why is it important? Is ROIemail "whitelisted"?
ROIemail participates in all major national whitelisting programs. A "Whitelist" is a list of email service providers who have met strict technical and best-practices requirements in order to be exempt from ISP SPAM filters. This does not guarantee that your email will be exempt from blocking by user-installed filters. It does mean that major email providers will not block your email as SPAM.

How can I make sure I'm not a Spammer?
ROIemail requires that you send email only to lists that are confirmed "opt-in". This means that you may only use lists of clients or those with whom you have had past business dealings *or* lists of people who have specifically asked to receive email from you. We do not accept purchased or association lists except in very specific circumstances. If you have a question about whether or not a particular lists meets our requirements, please contact us.

Creating Campaigns:

Can I use my own HTML for emails?
Yes! ROIemail makes it easy for you to use your own HTML for emails - and we also provide space for your to store images and templates for your account.

How many images can I store on the ROIemail system? How do I use them in my email campaigns?
ROIemail does not limit the number of images you can have in your image library. Instead, weoffer different amounts of memory for image storage. Your basic account allows you 300K of image storage. You can purchased additional blocks of image storage for a modest additional fee. See our additional services page for more information.

Do I have to send email to the same list all the time?
No. You can house multiple databases on the ROIemail system and you can also choose to load an individual list for each separate mailing if you choose.

What does ROIemail cost and how do I pay for it?
We offer a number of pricing plans for all sizes of organization. Most plans are based on the number of unique recipients you email each month and allow you unlimited emailing to any number of lists. The basic fee is only $12.95 per month and you pay a per message charge that begins at only a penny per email.
